Electric Energy
Sugarcane bagasse, the residue of the sugar and ethanol manufacturing process, is completely reused. The electric power provided by its burning feeds the mills and is still sold – a clean process that avoids the use of fossil fuels.
Check below the process for the production of electricity
AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION
Soil preparation and correction. Planting, Fertilization, fertigation, Pest Control, diseases and weeds that make up the cane production process, making available in quantity and quality suitable for harvesting.
HARVEST
Our sugarcane fields are harvested through a mechanized process using leading edge technologies such as high performance machines, high precision GPS, 4G communication, among others.
TRANSPORT
Then, high-capacity trucks transport the cane from the cane fields to the mills
MILLING
The sugarcane is in the milled for the extraction of the broth, used in the manufacture of sugar and ethanol. This process also results in bagasse, intended for production of bioelectricity
BROTH
After milling the sugarcane juice is separated from the bagasse and passed through heaters decanters and filters for the removal of impurities.
ETHANOL AND SUGAR
Then, the clarified broth is subjected to several processes that will transform it into ethanol and sugar
BAGASSE
Besides the sugarcane juice, the milling process also produces the bagasse which is reused
BOILER
Bagasse is sent to feed the plants boilers where it is burned for steam generation.
ENERGY
Steam transformed into thermal, mechanical and electrical energy. the latter is used for the own consumption of the plant and surplus is sold
